Global Strategic Pricing Manager

Global Strategic Pricing Manager In supporting these growth efforts, Panduit has a tremendous career opportunity for a creative, analytical Global Strategic Pricing Manager to directly contribute to the profitability of the company by leading the Global Pricing Team in the creation, implementation, and management of our product pricing strategies, programs, and systems. The candidate in this role will work with the highest levels of the Corporate, Divisional, Support and Sales groups to ensure maximum margins for our products in our competitive market that are in line with Panduit’s global strategies. This position will be based at our headquarters location in Tinley Park, IL. This highly visible role will require proven management and international pricing experience preferably in a global matrix organization. Snapshot of Specific Duties: · Lead, coach, manage, and provide direction to all global pricing groups, including the Global Pricing Group at Corp. on a direct report to basis and each regional International Pricing Group on a dotted line basis.· Provide direction to pricing supervisors in their efforts to create, implement, and manage global product line pricing strategies, reporting of key pricing measures back to the divisions, and monitor and react to competitive pricing activity.· Ensure that the proper systems and procedures are in place and are executed in order to continuously monitor and analyze competitive pricing activity and to initiate action when deemed appropriate. This includes competitive published pricing, pricing programs, and project pricing.· Oversee and lead the design, creation, usage, and modification of the price systems required for the price teams to achieve their objectives. Ensure that all pricing systems are properly integrated into the appropriate Division and Corp. Support Groups’ systems.· Ensure the proper and timely data gathering, analysis, and reporting of the effectiveness of the pricing strategies, programs, and policies/procedures to senior management.· Develop all direct reports to ensure all pricing team members are mentored, coached, and that each has an appropriate career plan, goals, and clear, achievable expectations.· Implement and execute a “closed loop” feedback system to advance the Global Pricing Department and improve Panduit’s systems, policies, procedures, and analysis. Skills, Training, Experience Required: BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, required; Master’s degree, preferred. Demonstrated business acumen with proven understanding of global markets and the international pricing industry. 10 years of sales, marketing, product management, and/ or pricing and systems experience is required. 5+ years of management and supervisory experience, required. Management experience in a global matrix organization is preferred. Strong analytical, statistical, math, and computer skills. Proven excellence and effectiveness in verbal and written communication to all organizational levels required, including presentation skills.
