HD Video System Development Engineer

HD Video System Development Engineer Corporate Engineering and Analytical Sciences is a worldwide engineering organization within the Office of the CTO with experienced mechanical, optical, electrical, software, packaging, systems, project management engineers and technicians. The organization is dedicated to developing and applying high-end engineering competencies & skills to Kodak's applied research, advanced development, product design and subsequent commercialization of award winning products. Requirements: Systems level development and implementation of an HD video display or projection system. Ability to create embedded software and associated hardware to coordinate the interactions of a video server and front end image content delivery components (datapath and calibration). Ability to specify HD video computing requirements and resources is helpful. Additional Qualifications: High Speed Datapath electronics design Complex embedded system architecture experience is required. Video interface design experience (DVI) Embedded software programming experience using real time processing hardware. Knowledge of high speed HD video servers Experience with multiple still image and video file formats. Networking and interface design experience using Ethernet, USB, PCI, serial port is required. Experience creating imaging system requirements and specifications Ability to identify, evaluate, resolve, and implement solutions to problems with the development team's support Proven ability to participate on a global, multi-functional, development team Creation and effective delivery of technical presentations to management and commercialization teams Strong inter-personal and communication skills
