Cleveland Corporate Services, and its education-market sales division, Smart Ed Services ( http://www.teachsmart.org/), have served Ohio and seven surrounding states for nearly nineteen years. We are primarily a classroom technology-based company that sells interactive whiteboards, education software, video security over IP, and professional development for teachers in the K-16 space. We are the 3rd largest SMART Board ( http://www.smarttech.com/) reseller in the U.S. and Canada out of approximately 500 resellers.
Our staff currently totals about eighty, hard-working, nice people, who are dedicated to improving educational outcomes in schools and universities in the eight states which we service. Approximately forty of our staff works in our East 40th Street facility. About forty other employees work throughout Ohio and seven surrounding states as Instructional Technologists, who are dedicated to helping teachers become better and more efficient teachers. Our goal is to have fun, help people, and make money.

This is a full-time position in a comfortable section on the outskirts of downtown Cleveland with free parking. Our 6000 square feet of office space is very well-appointed with most of the comforts of home, including a gourmet kitchen and dining space and four elegant restrooms. Very little overtime, if any, is required. No travel is required. The building which houses our headquarters maintains a smoke-free and drug-free environment. The general feel of the office atmosphere is somewhere between that of a large family and a friendly team.

Position Overview
The successful candidate for the Human Resources Director must be able to multi-task and execute a heavy workload effectively. In order for us to meet our sales and customer support goals, we must properly fill 40 positions before the end of the year. It is important to our company that the Human Resources Director is available to assist employees with any relevant human resource situations in a timely manner, and to make analytical, independent decisions regarding human resources matters from the Human Resources Director's own knowledge and research. The Human Resources Director will serve as a primary resource in benefits administration and be the liaison between the staff and the company.
The duties for the Human Resources Director will consist of, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:Lead the recruitment effort to hire new members of our staff in sales, technical and administrative positions, working with other members of the Selection Process Team, to complete screening, testing, interviews, and due diligence.Provide benefits implementation and administration of our employment compensation package for health insurance, dental insurance, and 401(k) retirement program.Provide service to employees and former employees to answer their benefit questions, resolve problems related to access to or payment of benefits, orient newly eligible employees, and process enrollment forms and changes, including COBRA and other government requirements.Maintain records of benefits plan(s) participation such as insurance and pension, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting, using the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains HR module. Maintain appropriate confidentiality with company or employee information.
