Riverbed Technology, www.riverbed.com, is seeking a Human Resources Manager responsible for supporting our Oracle HRIS system and generalist support to our US employee population. This is a new position is based in our San Francisco Headquarters office. This position oversees the company's benefit programs, which includes managing the broker and vendor relationships and providing employee communications. The HR Manager will partner closely with the Director of Human Resources on a variety of assignments in support of the company’s growth, infrastructure enhancement, employee communication and continuous department improvement objectives.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
Maintaining the company’s Oracle HRIS system and acting as a HR partner for the Research and Development group are the key responsibilities. A significant part of the role involves maintaining Oracle HRIS including data integrity, data management, system audits and report writing.
1) Create and maintain HRIS staff records, ensure data integrity. Act as Oracle HRIS Super User & maintain set-ups.
2) Provide employee relations support to line management, act as principal HR contact for employees seeking assistance with policies, benefits and requests for reports/information.
3) Evaluate the effectiveness and staff satisfaction of benefit programs, balancing cost-effectiveness and ability to attract talent.
4) Manage immigration/visa process for employees.

Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of HRIS is required (no exceptions): Oracle and/or SAP, Peoplesoft. • 5 + years generalist experience including employee relations, compensation, benefits. International and domestic HR experience is a plus.
• Broad base of human resources experience is a must; strong track record in communications and the ability to work hands-on effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR standard concepts, practices and procedures
• Strong knowledge of PC applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and extreme accuracy required.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
• Ability to interact and respond to questions from management with ease; High technology experience is a plus.
