Hardware Engineers

Engineering analysis, troubleshooting, design and develop requirements and architectures for various battery operated RF/telephone applications. Analysis of battery power issues, microcontroller, IC and RF systems and characterize their performance failures and resolve design and test issues. Collaborate closely with the design team through all phases of product development to ensure successful execution of innovative, best-in-class designs. Provide written specifications, reports and summaries of development projects and tasks. QUALIFICATION

BSEE and 5+ years in low level battery power electronics with some transmitters / system engineering, including experience in developing hand held electronics or portable or RF and/or wireless communication systems.

Hands-on experience monitoring and troubleshooting IC, microcontrollers, analog, digital, firmware and communication components such as antennas, modems, firmware, and software.

Root cause analysis, solutions problem skills, strong debugging skills and EE background.

Resolve existing products design issues, products failures and provide corrective action.

Some other skills of interest:

RF communication protocols, MHz to GHz and Zigbee exp.

Develop RF and Analog IC for consumer electronics.

 

Any of the following helpful:Created RF sensor product targeting low end ranges.

IF and RF integrated circuit design and development including transceiver, receiver, LNA, Mixer, Biasing and PLL circuitries for wireless applications.

Transmitter, transceiver design and integration with good understanding of digital and audio design requirements for high volume portable devices.

Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.

Experience in working with board and IC designers to ensure the design meet requirements.

Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Able to work alone or within a team.

Must be self motivated and very creative with excellent communications and documentations.

The Electrical engineer will be responsible for the design and development of wireless telephony systems for medical application. Key responsibilities will be system architecture, schematic design, oversee of layout and prototype delivery. Responsible for documenting the electrical requirements, specifications, design description and product changes. Perform engineering evaluation and testing to ensure proper performance.- Proficient in component modeling, analysis and simulation, requirements allocation, and verification.- Experience with PADS Logic, Orcad or similar schematic capture tools.- Hands-on experience monitoring and troubleshooting components of hardware and software.- Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications experience; DECT 6.0, or 1.9 GHz or higher.- Analog and Digital design, troubleshooting and testing skills.- Microprocessor experience such as ARM9 or similar. - Good documentation skills and knowledge with FDA regulation such as ISO13485.- Proven technical record in design and integration with good understanding of analog/digital design requirements for high volume portable low power devices.- Strong circuit analysis, and optimization skills and a commitment to driving all design details/issues to closure.- Experience in working with PCB designers to ensure the design meet requirements. - Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.- Strong written communication and documentation skills. - BSEE with 5-10 years of related system design experience - Must have experience in telephone (preferably cordless), Audio (speakerphone), or RF antenna and transmitter designs.- RF design knowledge is a plus- Embedded experience is preferred (ARM9 or similar)
