Technology Consulting is looking for a Help Desk Technician in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

 

Standard Job Description:  

 Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer.Works with computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. Route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.

 

Typical Minimums:

 High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical tasks and 2 years of experience.

 

Specific Job Description: 

 Under general supervision performs, provides 1st contact resolution support to customers with problems in the information management area. Performs analysis and provides solutions to customers on-site. Utilizing and maintaining personal account in the Enterprise Trouble Ticketing system. Support of Hardware, Operating Systems and Applications are particular areas of focus, with emphasis on IT communication functions and overall workstation operations.

 

 

 

Required Skills:

 General PC support skills, Customer Service SkillsA+, CHDP or an Associate degree in an IT discipline
