Help Desk Analyst

 

Our Northwest Houston client, a natural gas company, is seeking to hire a  Help Desk Analyst on a contract to possible hire basis.

Job Summary:

Provide first-level support for approximately 150 on and offsite users.

Job Duties:Respond to inquiries regarding network problems including but not limited to: printing, passwords, Lotus Notes, Citrix and General PC Support. Walk end users through solutions via telephone, email and walk-in. Maintain datafeed documentation and correspondence with vendors. Process purchase orders, invoices and office supply purchases.

Job Requirements:1-2 years of experience in desktop support including software/hardware issues. Previous experience with datafeed services (such as Reuters or Bloomberg) preferred. Knowledge of Windows operations systems/application and IBM compatible computer systems. Familiarity with Windows 2000 + and NetWare 5+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
