Help Desk-Service Technician

We are currently searching for a Help Desk Technician / Service Tech to join our Grand Rapids team.  This position will report to a client site in Portage, MI daily.

 

Job Summary: 

To provide help desk support to end users.  Will assist users via phone and in-person with pc hardware and software issues; log and track work/progress; basic administration duties.


Essential Duties:

Answers helpdesk calls/emails from end-users to meet contract and SLAs.

 

Enters and maintains SARTRAC to meet SLAs

 

Install/configure/troubleshoot hardware and software

 

Maintains confidentiality of data and system security for multiple systems and users

 

Coordinates activities with help desk, network services, or other information systems groups

 

Documents proper control and standard operating procedures for computer equipment operators and end users

 

Maintain Intranet and updates

 

Phone system support including Cisco voicemail system

 


Required Qualifications: 

Previous help desk experience and basic troubleshooting skills.

 

A+ certification preferred.
