Transform your career.EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS As a member of the Human Resources team, you will be responsible for the delivery and support of the Company's people practices ensuring a global international approach/perspective. You will build relationships with business leaders, managers and the HR team to help drive HR successful people strategies and programs. Through the introduction and integration of leading edge human resource practices, you will support management and our HR team in the achievement of business objectives. You will manage compensation programs, performance management programs, talent and succession planning, employee satisfaction surveys, systems and reporting, as well as a number of other people related processes and activities. You will provide a high degree of customer service to our client group, anticipating needs and partnering with others to provide stellar people programs in a customer centric delivery model. You will leverage and partner with our COE's to align our strategic and tactical plans within the framework of the SAP/Business Objects HR structure. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Minimum 8 years experience in an HR Business Partner/Generalist capacity, preferably in a high growth technology related industry * Strong business acumen from education (undergraduate degree in HR management, industrial relations or business) and past work experience * Experience enabling business groups to achieve organizational change objectives * Highly proficient in reporting and data analysis * Experience delivering HR programs with good project management skills * Understanding of current Canada and US labor legislation and experience coaching managers through complex employee relations situations * Strong attention to detail and focus on data integrity management processes * Experience working in a world-wide environment requiring a transnational approach to human resources preferred * Superior written and oral communication skills * Demonstrated competence in the following behavioral areas: Influencing, Inspiring and achieving change, Decision Making and Judgment, Customer Orientation, Strategic Thinking, Listening and Responding, Commitment to results. * HR Certificate or Association membership, CHRP/SHRM designation preferred * Accomplishes goals in a highly collaborative and team oriented approach * Technology experience and/or demonstrated aptitude   Title: Human Resources Business Partner, Business Objects an SAP CompanyCompany: SAPLocation: San Jose, CAStatus: Full Time, EmployeeJob Category: Human Resources
