IT Operations Manager

We are seeking a Manager to lead our IT Operations team. The team of 7 IT Operations staff provides 7/24 network & system support for multiple applications & computer platforms across multiple sites. This is a hands-on position responsible for directing activities related to the help desk, desktop support, telephony, systems administration, and network administration.

 

Requirements: BA or BS, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or MIS3+ years of IT management experienceBroad knowledge of IT Operations concepts, architecture & information security Up-to-date on IT Operations best practices, procedures, HW & SWAbility to manage and lead a highly technical staffStrong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate business & IT languageManage multiple assignments and align them with the business priorities & deadlinesDirect multiple projects, and ensure that quality measures, customer process impact, milestones, business value, and risk are met and addressed Define & maintain IT Operations procedures & documentationTrack & report IT Operations activitiesTriage & prioritize production support issuesManage on call processParticipate in quality control, testing & release managementExperience with Windows Server is required
