IT Project Manager Lead

Job Definition:Responsible for managing all aspects of diverse, moderately complex to complex projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost.  Utilizes experience and leadership skills to instill Project and Portfolio Management best practices and standards, mentor staff, and resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.  Communicates with business units, project team members and executives to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.  Projects are diverse and involve multiple disciplines in the IT function and business areas.Skills:Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.  Has appreciable latitude for unreviewed action or decision.  This fully competent professional level may be assisted by lower level personnel.  Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of moderately difficult assignments.  Works under minimal supervision.  Success in this role also requires excellent organizational and project management skills and a demonstrated proficiency using MS Office, MS Project and Sharepoint.Education:Bachelors degree and minimum 10 years professional related technical experience.  PMP Certification preferred.Benefits Include Competitive Pay Health/Dental 401K Paid Time Off Tuition ReimbursementOne of Merrill's four goals is to hire and retain quality employees.
