Ceridian is seeking an Identity Management Software Engineer for our IT Engineering Department. This position will mainly involve design, development, integration, configuration and support of the Ceridian Single Sign-On and Federated Identity Management Solution. Responsibilities include the ability to design, implement, install, configure and integrate the Ceridian SSO/FIM Solution to provide SSO functionality for internal and partner applications. Job responsibilities will be facilitated through participation in an enterprise software development lifecycle that will include interaction with project managers, architects, analysts, other developers and test engineers. Additional Job Responsibilities:Consults with internal and external business partners to develop technical solutions to business problems and/or opportunities which are cost effective and value added. Designs integrated technical solutions for proprietary and purchased software which may include enterprise-level projects. Provide or contribute to design approaches that lead to enterprise solutions. Prepare and reviews concise technical design documents. Develop and maintain custom integration components based on application requirements. Tune and optimize the application based on testing analysis and performance requirements. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Provide solution support and maintenance once in production.Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Ability to comprehend information verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate information effectively. Provide information to supervisors, and coworkers by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person.Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related field Preferred, equivalent work experience in related field will be considered. At least 5 years of development/integration experience with Microsoft and/or Java technologies. Familiar with certificates required by Windows and IdM tools. Strong knowledge of Identity Management (Web Access Management, Federated Identity Management, Identity Provisioning ), preferably HP Select Product Suite (Select Access, Select Federation, Select Identity, Select Audit) but experience with similar products is acceptable.Knowledge of LDAP is highly desired.Knowledge of one or more of the following .NET, ASP.NET and/or Java, JSP, XML, XSL, IIS and JavaScript.Knowledge of WebLogic is highly desired. Knowledge of network infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, certificates) is highly desired. Knowledge of multi-tiered wed application development. Knowledge of SDLC. Ability to support solution in production environments. Ability to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
