As the Industry Marketing Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing and managing highly targeted marketing programs that generate demand for Akamai services, drive revenue, and build the Akamai brand. Activities include planning and managing lead generations campaigns that use direct mail, email, trade shows & conferences, online sponsorships and paid key word programs. This position is key to the development of lead pipeline to be used by the Inbound Response Center and lead generation team to produce qualified first appointments. Management of a portfolio of offers including targeted webinars, white papers, and reports is also required. You will be responsible for managing marketing programs from concept to program execution and post-program evaluation. You must embrace a performance metrics approach to planning, executing, tracking, and reporting on lead generation campaigns. * Direct marketing programs in line with Industry marketing strategy, focused on driving brand and product awareness/revenue within Akamai’s target markets; execute programs on-time and on-budget * Evaluate marketing programs against quantitative and qualitative objectives to ensure continuous improvement * Contribute to programs development in support of Akamai business objectives, including target market definition/segmentation, market trend and opportunity identification. * Work closely with other Global Marketing functions – Industry Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, Analyst Relations, Sales Productivity, Creative Services – to insure integrated program execution and consistent messaging * Articulate Akamai’s brand attributes and ensure they are consistently incorporated into all marketing programs and creative vehicles * Support ongoing programs and related activities of the Marketing Programs team * BA/BS with Minimum of 5 years in marketing function, preferably in the high tech Media & Entertainment Industry * Strong understanding of marketing planning and program development/execution * Detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects and vendors * Strong marketing communications skills (written and verbal) * Strong interpersonal skills * Independence, with flexibility to work in fast-paced, “start-up” environment * Willingness to travel on a monthly to bi-monthly basis * Computing skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Contact us!
