An overall understanding of quality client service, a proven track record of working in multifunctional teams and across multiple geographies, strong business acumen and the instinct to think and act globally are essential for advancement within Deloitte Services LP.   Job Overview:   Position Description/Major Responsibilities:  The Information Technology Analyst is responsible for providing office level support for the Technology Support Services (TSS) organization. They report to the Technology Services Manager in the local office. They are the primary contact in TSS for day-to-day questions, problems and concerns with regard to internal technology needs.  This includes computer hardware, application, mobile device and printer support. Other duties may include infrastructure, telephone and video technology support as required.  Candidates should have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a strong sense of urgency.  Position requires excellent communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with a minimum of three years experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing PC and laptop HW/SW.  Must be experienced with end user support; possess strong technical knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office products including MS Outlook.  Windows Vista knowledge a plus.  Knowledge of Lenovo, HP and Dell laptop platforms is desirable. The Information Technology Analyst will participate in large-scale hardware and software rollouts, end of lease upgrades, and critical projects to maintain technology readiness within the Firm. In addition, this person will assign technology assets to users, monitor consumable inventory levels and report discrepancies to a designated local asset coordinator. Self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision and a variety of personalities are strongly desired. Education and experience should include, but not limited to: - Technical and business experience with a thorough working knowledge of applications, mobile computer hardware, mobile devices (Treos and Blackberry - RIM) and printer hardware. - HP, Xerox Printer and IBM or HP Laptop certification desired, or ability to secure certification after employment. - A+ certification preferred, but not required. - Associate degree preferred, but not required.
