NVIDIA is looking for a manager to lead the automated build and test operations team. This team is responsible for ensuring the responsiveness and up-time of a world-class, large-scale, multi-tier distributed computing system on farms of machines all around the world. The system runs tens of thousands of jobs per day on hundreds of computers which serve thousands of software and hardware engineers worldwide. Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain a heterogeneous datacenter of ~1000 compute nodes, servers, databases and storage devices Plan and execute new hardware/software/networking procurement, installation and deployment Plan for system growth Troubleshoot system outages Manage data backup and recovery Handle system procurement and RMA potentially involving supplier negotiations Measure and improve system uptime and job latency; find and resolve bottlenecks Multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic environment Manage engineers and technicians around the globe Interact with internal customers around the globe Minimum Requirements: BS/MS in Computer Science or Information Systems 5 years of Information Technology experience 5 years of management experience Strong skills with Windows systems Strong skills with SQL databases (SQL Server) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Mac and Linux operating systems Past experience with C and C++, Java and Java frameworks, Perl, C# Knowledge of power and cooling systems for large labs EOE
