Infrastructure Admin (Sunday - Thursday)

Overview:We are currently seeking to add Infrastructure Admins to our TTNET™ team. TTNET™ is TT’s fully managed hosting solution for FCMs, trading firms, banks and other institutions that prefer an outsourced solution. Our TTNET™ Infrastructure Admins support a Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory domain with twenty child domains across six logical sites. The typical shift will be normal business hours but Sunday - Thursday.  Responsibilities:·  Build Intel based servers, manage the infrastructure, troubleshoot and provide timely support for Windows Server OS (2000 and 2003) and Linux OS for our hosted service, TTNET.·  Monitor network, server and applications to ensure high availability.·  Help ensure accessibility and continuous operation of mission critical production systems.·  Maintain infrastructure (heating and air conditioning, power layouts, rack design, and cabling) domain administration (user management, deploying updates & general maintenance, and designing Active Directory environments) automating processes (scripting, designing tools for routine tasks, and creating procedures).·  Must have the ability to train others, communicate ideas clearly, and use foresight to predict future needs should be demonstrated by potential hires. ·  Requires 24/7 attention. Requirements:·  MCP required, A+ and MSCA preferred.·  2-3 year of network/server support experience.·  Experience trouble shooting HP, IBM, or Dell server equipment in a data center.·  Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and domains including AD, LDAP, DNS, replication.·  Familiarity operating within a financial environment is a plus.·  Ability to work effectively and responsibly in a team or independently.·  Ability to read, understand and implement established procedures.·  Ability to document new procedures as they arise.·  Experience managing backups especially using Retrospect is a plus.·  HP, IBM, Dell, server certifications desired.·  Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MSSQL, HP SIM desirable, but not required.·  Scripting is a plus.·  Unix/Linux is a plus.·  Exposure to Cisco Routers is a plus. TT is committed to providing an environment where highly talented, challenge-hungry people thrive.
