Infrastructure Services Engineer

Description:Our group seeks a skilled systems professional to provide support for the backend infrastructure of a fast-paced Investment Department. The right candidate will be capable of working both independently and within the team to support the Investments backend systems. This is a complex environment and requires in-depth knowledge in several keys areas of todays technology. Seven plus years of backend systems management experience that includes the following:EMC Symmetrix Storage Technology (SRDF a plus; DELL Quad Core Blade Server Technology; DELL Open Manager for monitoring ESX Server systems. Storage architecture, capacity, allocation (quotas) and planning; VSS shadow copies, Live State recovery Imaging; Disaster recovery; VMware Enterprise Level Virtualization Technology; Microsoft Systems Management Tools (SMS 2003; MOM 2005); Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Based Active Directory; Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Setup, Deployment, Management, Security, Auditing and Maintenance; Windows Backup Systems (Legato, or VMware Consolidated Backups is a plus); WAN/LAN Management (Cisco Concentrator/Routers); Firewall Management (Check Point and Microsoft ISA Server 2006 is a plus)Qualifications:Experience leading projects and working with a Technical Architect is a plus.
