Inside Account Manager Security Software Solutions

 OVERVIEW

Optimize the business and profit opportunities by serving as En Pointe Technologies sales advocate and focal point for the relationship with the Symantec Corporation.  Generate incremental revenue, reinforce market credibility through partners and leverage En Pointe Technologies service capabilities where applicable.  Work closely with the Symantec Channel team at all stages of engagement delivery to include, but not limited to, strategizing, training, sales, account calls, and service coordination.  Support top key sales transactions to ensure we win the business by being the subject matter expert and bringing the right resources to bear.  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential responsibilities and activities described below are typical for this job. This is not intended as an exhaustive list of tasks performed; depending on organizational requirements, other duties may be assigned.

 

· Develop a semester (6 month) Plan of Action to determine a guide for reaching all goals established for the upcoming semester.

· Develop and maintain levels of expertise in products, license programs and policies in order to support and service the En Pointe Technologies customers.

· Attend product training and seminars when necessary

· Monitor levels of participation in existing licensing programs to determine its effectiveness and customer commitment levels

· Business Development Managers will work with quarterly Performance Incentives, which will include a quarterly COG’s goal. 

· Provide sales support, education, and training to En Pointe Technologies Sales Force, Software Partner’s Sales Force, and En Pointe Technologies Operations personnel.

· Provide Management with weekly updates related to internal and external relationship building activities and major accomplishments for the week.

 OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 

· Facilitate Relationships between En Pointe Technologies and Symantec’s sales groups (including our PSO team) to identify and close new business in joint target accounts.

· Manage Symantec’s revenue forecasts and pipeline including coordination between Symantec Channel Sales and En Pointe Technologies sales personnel.

· Increase revenue through the sales of products to new and existing En Pointe Technologies customers.

· Maintain pipeline report, weekly reports and all documentation to support business opportunities and new sales.

· Manage leads from the Web site, Direct Mail Campaigns and Sales Seminars.  Leads will be funneled to the appropriate En Pointe Technologies Sales Representative.

· Assist and support En Pointe Technologies Sales Representatives in the RFP process.

· Create a company wide product awareness campaign to continually keep En Pointe Technologies Sales Representatives informed of products and services.

· Participate in the development of Marketing’s Publisher’s strategy.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· BS/ BA in Business or equivalent

· Minimum of 3-5 years of Inside Sales or Vendor Management
