Inside Sales Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be assisting Sales Account Executives in selling FusionStorm products and services. This position will be based in our St. Louis office.
Your responsibilities will include: Handling inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales. Overcoming technical and business objections of prospective customers. Responding to customer inquiries, emphasizing salable features, quoting prices and credit terms, and encouraging customers to buy. Qualifying prospective order and forwarding to Account Executive Processing and tracking orders that come from the sales staff Estimating date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of FusionStorm production and delivery schedules. Making outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services. Giving price quotations, completing order sheets and checking the price and quantity of each item listed. Coordinating with Purchasing regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders. Maintaining customer files with sales contract and other information Following-up with potential and existing customers to qualify leads, assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems. Maintaining customer relationships. Informing current and prospective customers of current promotions and new or upgraded products. Investigating and resolving customer problems with deliveries. Exercising judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Gaining thorough knowledge of FusionStorm products and services. Compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, telephone directories, business directories, internet web sites, professional association membership lists, and other sources. Preparing reports of business transactions. Entering new customer data and other sales data for current customers into ERP system – includes names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects solicited. Working with Account Executives to keep account activities and literature up to date. Mailing marketing/sales literature to prospective clients Providing support for multiple assigned outside sales representatives and performing additional duties as needed. Travel to and attends trade shows.
REQUIREMENTS Strong written and verbal communication skills 2-5 years of inside sales or related experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good knowledge of technology and the industry channel dynamics Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skills Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and the Internet
