This process will take approximately 5 minutes.    In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:    - Collaborating with design, layout, and hardware engineers in the development of productivity enhancement layout tools  - Advising hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements  - Designing and developing compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems  - Designing and implementing device specific/device independent memory and Graphics resource management tasks to support new graphics technologies  - Writing high-level design documents, and participating in code reviews and performance optimization    You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with three to five years of experience in the development and optimization of user and Kernel level software using the programming languages (C, C++, IA-32 assembly, IA-32 intrinsic, Perl) under the Windows* operating system. Background in PC Graphics architecture and Graphics driver development is preferred. Additional qualifications include:    - Solid programming skills with debugger expertise  - Prior experience in software development, and fluent understanding of performance measurement and benchmarking theory and practice  - Knowledge of compiler or vectorizer internals; development and optimization of managed software is an added advantage  - Strong knowledge of existing CPU and graphics processing unit (GPU) architecture and platform architecture  - Prior experience using pre-silicon simulation tools, generating instruction traces, analyzing pipeline traces, software performance analysis, and tuning  - Software architecture, design, and validation skills  - Knowledge of C/C++/C#; .NET*, Java; Perl, COM*/DCOM* programming languages  - Knowledge of Win2000*/2K3K*/NT*, Linux* operating systems (OS)  - Understanding of software engineering lifecycle  - Excellent communication and presentation skills       View all job postings for Intel
