JDE Analyst Programmer
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The incumbent’s responsibilities will include the day-to-day support, design, development and testing within the JDE HCM product and environment. As part of their tasks, this JDE Sr. Analyst Programmer will work with end users, peers, management, vendors and International subsidiary representatives to implement new products, resolve outstanding issues, seek opportunities, and recommend/implement sound business solutions. The ideal candidate would have experience with technical design, development and testing of reports, interfaces, and customizations to the HCM product. Must have understanding of best practices in using JDE EnterpriseOne tools to meet these business needs and the business opportunities that JDE’s HCM product provides. SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Experience in EnterpriseOne HCM 8, 8.9, or 8.11 Solid understanding of JDE data structures, business views, system configuration, integration points, application tools and module functionality JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Technical Foundation tools and CNC functionality Apply ESUs, ASUs, Updates and Service Pack upgrades. Administration of security, print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring via SAW Keep current and up-to-date with application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and other CNC components. SKILL REQUIREMENTS DESIRED: Experience as a JDE CNC/Systems/Security Administrator Experience developing JDE workflow Experience with additional report writing tools such as Crystal Reports EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE: Position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technical discipline 5+ years experience as a programmer/developer Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to interface effectively with staff and users. An ability to present and discuss both non-technical and technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding is also required. Requires excellent relationship building, mentoring and customer service skills. Must have the ability to span the boundary between departments, organizations, and subsidiaries in leading teams to collaborate effectively on meeting company and IST technology initiatives with the ability to resolve conflict. Ability to exercise independent judgment and utilize creative problem solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading edge technology and/or integrating diverse user systems.
