The developer we are looking for will work on everything but the Micro strategy side of things.  As such, the developer working on this portion of the project must have very strong analytical skills, work with minimal supervision and have strong Java and SQL skills.  Additional support will be available from a data architecture perspective. REQUIRED SKILLS  5+ years J2EE development experience 2+ years in a lead developer/designer role Solid grasp of J2EE design patterns and development methodologies Experience developing applications using struts, hibernate 2+ years Tomcat and/or WebSphere experience Strong grasp of Oracle performance tuning Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development and tuning 2+ years Oracle experience Strong grasp of database integration with web apps Strong skills in existing systems decomposition and documentation Prior experience integrating 3rd party applications into web solutions using vendor SDKs Experience integrating Micro strategy with web solutions a plus Ability to independently set tasks and complete work with limited direction Solid grasp of data warehousing design patterns and ETL development methodologies Strong grasps of data modeling and relational database concepts Perl/Unix scripting experience a plus Experience of working as a Technical Consultant Specialist Serious Candidates should send their word version resumes to riamatta@spherion.com or call immediately @ 630-919-2907  Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
