Position

This position is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of Java - Oracle applications.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and unit test Java software applications to populate, analyze, and extract data from Oracle databases.Work closely with production staff and managers to ensure software development efforts consistently meet business requirements and schedules. Qualifications

 

· BA or BS in Computer Science or related degree

· 4+ years experience in Java, SQL, PL/SQL

· Mid to Senior Level Java skills

· Strong working knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

· Comfortable working in both Windows and Unix (Linux) environments

· Demonstrated experience working on large projects

· High energy, motivated self-starter with ability to take direction and manage tasks with minimal supervision within an energized, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment

· Excellent communication (verbal and written) and listening skills

· Innovative and creative, able to champion new ideas and initiatives with attention to detail

· Experience providing solutions in the Direct Marketing domain is a plus

· Flexible and resourcefulDesired Experience:

 Oracle JDeveloper, BPEL, SOAMicrosoft SQL Server T-SQLMicrosoft Visual Studio .NETUnix shell scriptingData ModelingOracle development DBA knowledge
