Jr. Sales Representative

Jr Inside Sales Rep 

Qualifications: Person with inside sales and/or telemarketing experience in the IT industry. Person willing to do customer-facing and vendor-facing meetings. Person with desire to become Account Executive in future. Strong written and communications skills.

Responsibilities: Cold Calling / New customer prospecting – The goal is to establish relationships and win business in cities, towns, private schools, hospitals, State agencies and universities with which company has done no prior business.  Some activities include identifying the right contacts in accounts, contacting Dell accounts to promote HP, handling mailers and/or trade shows, etc. 

Quoting - Enter overflow of orders – Field Customer calls - Bid Compilation - Would include compiling bid responses, coordinating paperwork with Long Island facility, delivering bids when necessary, etc. Compensation Structure: Base salary of $35K to $40K. 

Earns 5% commission on NEW business. The payment structure above pertains to hardware, software, and Professional Services.
