LANDesk Technical Team LeadNon contract ** Direct Hire, Perm Placement only**Unable to work with 3rd party candidates or agencies & Unable to sponsor H-1B visa at this time POSITION TITLE:  Distributed Systems Team Lead (North East Region)RESPONSIBILITIES:  This position is responsible for leading the North East Region – Distributed Systems (DS)  technical team.  Significant accountabilities include:•  Provide IS technical support to SAC users •  Interface with local business contacts to insure DS resources are in line with business need •  Ensure all user calls/problems are properly managed to successful completion •  Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of all computer hardware and software, as required •  Work with the various IS groups in the successful planning, design, and implementation of business systems •  Maintain and enforce SAC hardware and software asset standards and inventory •  Manage technical projects •  Participate in global team activity and projects, as required •  Enforce SAC IS Policies and ProceduresQUALIFICATIONS:   •  BS degree in a technical field with a minimum 3 years experience leading a technical team is desired •  Experience configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 2000/XP, LanDesk, and Lotus Notes preferred •  Must be able to communicate IS issues effectively with employees of all levels •  Ability to work in a virtual team on a global basis as required •  Work independently with little or no supervision •  Ability to react quickly to changes in priorityOTHER:     20% travel require  ** For immediate consideration please email a Word version of your resume and reference the job number 152791brw in the subject line. ** Using a consultative approach, RemX IT Staffing provides staffing solutions to a wide range of companies, from Fortune 1000 companies to mid-sized businesses.
