Laser and Ink Printer Technician

Responsibilities Include:

* Remanufacture laser toner cartridges on a daily basis according to quotas set by manager

* Maintain equipment according to store standards

* Maintain safety in technician area according to store standards

* Dispose of all regulated waste according to OSHA standards

* Provide assistance to customers regarding technical issues

* Use Point of Sale system to enter customer information, quantity, description and pricing information

* Manage inventory of cartridge parts and finished inventory

* Assist in receiving incoming shipments ensuring that all quantities received match ordered quantities

* Provide assistance in stocking merchandise both in retail store front and in back office

* Assist in ensuring that adequate quantities of toner and ink are in stock

* Facilitate ordering process when quantities reach re-order point

* Maintain a clean and orderly technical area

* Training will be provided to all new employees Requirements:Previous experience in printer or cartridge technology desired but NOT required Strong mechanical aptitude Previous experience in inventory management/ purchasing Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines Ability to work at least one weekend shift per month Must maintain compliance with Company polices and dress codes Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance Demonstrated customer service skills with ability to provide outstanding customer service to diverse population of clients
