Lawson Systems Analyst

We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst with project lead experience for our Information Systems Department. In this role, you will:Set and insure goals and implementation dates are achieved Control project teams and plans to insure user expectations are met Operate with only limited oversight by superior Identify resource requirements and communicate to senior management Create plans using Microsoft Project when appropriate Conduct and lead project planning meeting and/or conference calls when required Provide status reports and updates on aspects of the project as requested by senior management Handle personnel issues for team - including performance evaluations, hiring, disciplinary action and training needs Assign team member work loads, tasks and project assignments Manage the ongoing support, maintenance, upgrades or enhancements of Lawson Code, test, debug, document and support internal programs as well as vendor supplied software for the Lawson Financial and Materials applications  Cover roles and responsibilities of Sr. Project Manager in their absence

 

 

Our ideal candidate will have:Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.  A Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred Minimum 3 years experience on Lawson programs. Minimum 2 years of management, supervisory, or project lead experience 1+ years of experience with MS Office and MS Project required Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical terminology into terms understandable by management Strong leadership characteristics Ability to plan, direct and coordinate all activities of an applications support group with supervision as needed Demonstrated ability in high-level problem solving Generally needs little direction in addressing day-to-day tasks Possesses managerial skills that empower and develop others; is sensitive to others and fosters teamwork Experience with Lawson Financial and Materials is a plus  Strong problem-solving and debugging skills required Experience with EDI, Lawson Process Flow, and Lawson MS Add-ins a plus Experience with upgrading the Lawson Environment and Applications is a plus 2+ years of Oracle experience is a plus
