The typical project tasks include working with Branded Solutions User Experience group to conceive and define the specific UI requirements for a given product, providing guidance on feasibility of potential interface options, and then implementing and debugging the UI on the product. Backend work will include interfacing with various product components on Linux.Minimum of ten years experience as a software developer with at least five years of Web-based user interface implementation experience.BSCS or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Skills Required / Responsibilities:Experience building consumer facing web applications Extensive experience with UI technologies — JSP, Servlets, Javascript, AJAX, XML, CSS, HTMLExperience working on various UI frameworks like JSFExperience working with multi-tiered web applications on frameworks and technologies such as Java/J2EE, Weblogic AS, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, SQL, Linux, Junit.Good understanding and implementation experience with WebServices and protocols like SOAP, REST and XML-RPC.Experience with designing and developing for multiple web browsers, including MAC based browsers.Experience with internationalization and localization a big plus.Understanding other platforms/languages such as Ruby/Rails or PHP is a plus.Exposure to ESB, AOP, SOA is preferred, but not required.Leader or contributor in open-source Java software is a big plus
