Linux System Administrator

Wanted:  Person both interested and capable in administering a small linux cluster system. Expertise in custom linux operating system (OS) installation and configuration in Red Hat and Debian based distributions; network configuration for both gigabit (Gb) and InfiniBand (IB) using routable and non-routable/local address space; Lustre (tm) cluster file system configuration and maintenance; implementation of batch schedulers such as torque and corresponding user interfaces such as maui software; LDAP authentication schema; web (HTML, Java, and PHP skills) and file transfer protocol (FTP) set-up, security and administration is required.

Facility with configuration of multiple compilers (C and FORTRAN) and message passing interface (MPI) software greatly desirable.

The ability to configure and use System Imager and diskless booting is
also requested.

Certification in networking and Linux system administration definitely a plus.
