Job ID: 4845Position Description: Responsible for supporting enterprise focused initiatives of the business operations group, whose mission is to develop and improve the effectiveness of enterprise business performance management at Citrix. Primary responsibility will be maintaining the Citrix Business Intelligence (BI) Program (focused around the BI Competency Center) which includes maintaining and supporting existing data cubes, business users and reports within the Hyperion BI platform. Responsible for the accuracy, consistency and accessibility of the company’s key data and information for use in strategic decision making, analytics and performance measurement enterprise-wide. Requires strong inter-personal, communication and program management capabilities. Must exemplify strong customer-centric support skills and have the ability to interact with diverse personalities from various cross-functional organizations.Primary Duties / Responsibilities• Expand and maintain the BI Competency Center and the related processes. The BICC is a self-sustaining business support structure for maintaining and expanding the ongoing enterprise business intelligence program built on the Hyperion BI Platform used for analysis, reporting and critical decision-making across all functions and locations. Incorporates the following functions and activities:o Develop and maintain standard training processes and documentation, o Develop and maintain data integrity programs o Develop and execute effective and scalable communication programs and change management protocolso Manage geographically and functionally dispersed virtual teams of ‘power users’o Maintain new user and user access security processes and standardso Promote and expand functional expertise in the Hyperion BI toolset, including documentation of best practices, FAQ’s, workshops, etc.o Develop innovative methods and effective change management programs targeted at expanding user adoption targeting new user groups.• Partner closely with IT and the business users to sustain the enterprise BI system. • Directly manage staff personnel• Obtain strong cross-functional and cross-regional knowledge of business data and processes to most effectively align the BI Program with business and strategic objectives.• Assist with dissemination of key strategic metrics and published corporate performance measurements and reporting standards• Support various ad-hoc or special project assignmentsQualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)Core competencies should include the following cognitive and behavioral skills:• Change management skills – has a healthy dissatisfaction with current thinking and drives alternative solutions• Customer satisfaction – able to effectively anticipate customer needs and usage scenarios and tailor programs to meet such needs.• Program management – able to effectively develop and manage sustainable processes and programs involving multiple personnel, tasks and timetables• Communication/presentation skills – effectively communicate objectives in a way that is easily understood• Priority setting – gains real understating of business critical areas and levels of risk• Problem solving & critical thinking – able to fill in the holistic view and offer creative solutions; • Interpersonal/influencing skills – effectively engage peers to accept recommendations and motivate action to secure outcomesStrong technical computer skillsMust effectively manage cross functional virtual teamsAbility to perform multiple concurrent and diversified tasksAbility to interact effectively with other departments, business units, and management levelsAbility to effect organizational and cultural changePosition Requirements:Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)Core competencies should include the following cognitive and behavioral skills:• Change management skills – has a healthy dissatisfaction with current thinking and drives alternative solutions• Customer satisfaction – able to effectively anticipate customer needs and usage scenarios and tailor programs to meet such needs.• Program management – able to effectively develop and manage sustainable processes and programs involving multiple personnel, tasks and timetables• Communication/presentation skills – effectively communicate objectives in a way that is easily understood• Priority setting – gains real understating of business critical areas and levels of risk• Problem solving & critical thinking – able to fill in the holistic view and offer creative solutions; • Interpersonal/influencing skills – effectively engage peers to accept recommendations and motivate action to secure outcomesStrong technical computer skillsMust effectively manage cross functional virtual teamsAbility to perform multiple concurrent and diversified tasksAbility to interact effectively with other departments, business units, and management levelsAbility to effect organizational and cultural changeRequirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or equivalent experience a plus• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience, including 3-5 years of direct experience managing a support or operations function • Experience with program (or project) management required • Basic technical awareness of systems and IT • Experience with IT systems implementations a plus• Experience with Hyperion BI+ platform a big plus.
