In this newly created role you will play a leadership role ensuring that the company’s financial information is presented in accordance with regulatory and GAAP requirements. Primary responsibilities include: 

· Consolidation of multiple foreign and domestic entities and branch operations including intercompany elimination and foreign currency issues

· Direct support to Asia Pacific Regional Controllers in maintaining appropriate books and records for all Asia Pacific branch offices 

· Management of the global inter-company transactions process including account reconciliations

· Resolution of consolidation and other accounting issues as they arise in compliance with GAAP requirements

· Preparation of external (SEC) financial reports including footnote disclosures and supporting schedules,  and internal management reports, ad hoc reports and account analysis. Support the Business Finance team on monthly forecasting with ad hoc analytics and reporting requirements

· Development and maintenance of financial reports and relevant configuration in SAP to support consolidation and reporting requirements

· Lead support role on consolidation module and /or third party consolidation software implementation.

· Support to the IT team on SAP reporting / business intelligence implementation initiatives (substantial systems improvements and implementations planned)

· Regular interaction with all department heads, senior & executive management teams (high visibility position)

 

Requirements

·Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting or similar business discipline

·Current CPA license

·5-10 of years experience with a public accounting/private industry mix

·Strong knowledge of GAAP and consolidation accounting methods & practices, and foreign currency translations (FASB 52)

·SEC reporting experience a plus

·SAP R/3 and / or Hyperion Enterprise  experience strongly preferred.  SAP R/3 FI-LC or SAP SEM/BCS experience a big plus.

·ERP financial system implementation and /or upgrade experience a plus
