Synergy Business Consulting, Inc. has been retained to identify a Manager of SEC Reporting for a permanent position at mid-size publicly listed company based in Miami, Florida.  Our client is an emerging leader in Technology and Communications solutions.

 

Summary:

 

Preparation and management of 10Q, 10K and other applicable SEC reports and filings. Coordinates and manages the relationship with external public accounting firm. Responsible for external audit process and all other external financial reporting activities.

 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 Current or recent SEC Reporting experienceStrong knowledge of applicable rules, guidelines and regulationsAdvanced GAAP accounting knowledgePrior Public Accounting experience with BIG 4 or Regional CPA firmPrivate sector corporate accounting with Publicly Listed CompanyCPA candidates preferred or CPA in progress



Education and Experience:

 ·Bachelors Degree in Accounting 

·  Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting

·  Minimum 5 years of professional experience

·  Prior experience in enterprise corporate accounting team preferred

·  Strong financial and analytical skills

·  Ms Excel and Access

·  Strong verbal and written skills
