We are looking for a highly experienced individual with extensive hands-on knowledge of the SMT process and PCB manufacturing environments. The candidate must have excellent problem solving skills and an intimate knowledge of BGA processing and rework. Should be a Technical expert in the area of solder joint quality and process analysis. Will act as the new technology process engineering expert and perform DOE on new chip and PCB advanced technologies. Must work with reliability and board layout groups to develop test platforms to prove best design practices for new chip and PCB technology’s. Must be familiar with all aspects of assembly and PCB manufacturing. Minimum Requirements: BS in Engineering Discipline or Manufacturing Engineering experience on complex Electro-mechanical assemblies and sub assemblies. Strong background in SMT processes and process development with the ability to serve as a technical resource. Candidate must have the ability to multi task, manage projects and possess strong time management skills and excellent verbal and written skills are required. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams, and able to meet deadlines in a changing environment. Requires 8+ years SMT experience, working knowledge of automated pick-and-place machines, reflow oven profiling, stencil printing equipment, and tool design experience. Requires SMD component rework experience using SRT Rework Station or similar equipment, working knowledge of rework nozzle design, and rework stencil requirements for BGA, uBGA, connectors, and fine pitch components. Also requires extensive knowledge of PWB stencil design requirements. Must be able to troubleshoot processing issues and know proper reflow oven profiling techniques. Must also posses the knowledge of PCB manufacturing and that process in total detail EOE
