To meet the needs created by our strategic growth, we are adding a Marketing Communications Specialist to our MSI Marketing Team!
Position Description:
1. Manages the day-to-day development, implementation, fulfillment and project management of practice or solution-related demand generation marketing campaigns, promotions, and collateral development. Campaigns, promotions, and collateral development may include but not limited to practice brochure development direct mail, advertising, e-mail communications, list management, tradeshows, press releases, seminars, and case studies. Ensures well-timed, smoothly run, profitable, integrated programs. Participates in long-term planning of the department, creates practice or solution-based quarterly campaign plans, and uses CRM to document and facilitate the necessary campaign components as defined by our processes.
2. Manages the practice or solution-related web site content, to include overseeing the day-to-day development, project management and ensuring the execution of the strategic direction, which includes following corporate standards and recommending improvements for content navigation, user experience, repeat visits and track and monitor progress.
3. Identifies, collects and maintains contact information for practice or solution partner contacts. In addition, the position takes an active roll in coordinating, planning and executing communication and marketing tactics to the partner audience.
4. Responsible for managing leads from campaigns, partner funding programs, marketing lists, internal awareness and communications of marketing activities.
5. Works with corporate communications to coordinate fulfillment of case studies, market intelligence, advertising, PR, website content, and portal content.
Key Skills include:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Public Relations preferred and/or equivalent experience.
· Minimum of 4 years experience with Marketing and/or Public Relations.
· Knowledge of or prior Sales experience preferred.
· Experience working for a high-tech, systems integration company preferred.
· Knowledge of demand generation programs, product messaging and positioning.
· Highly creative individual with excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
· Highly accurate/detailed, computer efficient person with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
· Proven ability to deliver customer focused marketing programs.
· Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, along with positive, professional, and friendly communication skills are a must.
· Ability to quickly pick up new concepts and work with minimal supervision.
· Advanced computer skills (word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software) are required.
· Skills in Desktop Publishing preferred.
