Position Description

 

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to expand our employee base by adding an enthusiastic and achievement driven professional to our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the research and analysis of customer market trends and competitive market research and analysis. This person will determine the types of programs and product launches needed in the market place and identify and anticipate unmet customer needs. In addition to working with our current product line, together with our Sales Team, this person will assist in the launch and effective marketing of our two brand new products—a complete audio system and  an innovative Emergency Response System.

 

The Marketing Manager will conduct research studies and analyze the competitive environment sales records, market penetration, potential and future trends and make recommendations based on findings. This person will then be responsible for developing and executing marketing tactics that will generate demand and expand our customer base.

Specific Responsibilities

 

·  Provide leadership over the development and execution of a strategic plan that will result in a competitive advantage

·  Contribute to product planning, product development and manage product launch activities to drive increased market penetration

·  Provide leadership and vision for brand/channel and develop strategic plans for the business according to its target market

·  Conduct independent research via the internet, in house reports, and secondary sources

·  Foster close working relationships with Sales and Product Management to coordinate marketing plans

·  Lead research associated with current products and new product development including participation in tradeshows and industry events.

 

 

Qualifications

 

·  Team player with the ability to work independently and manage time without supervision

·  Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and ability to multi-task

·  A track record of developing effective strategies and translating those strategies into actionable marketing communications

·  Experience in marketing system development and deployment, business and market development, market research & planning, and advertising/promotion are all a plus

·  Superior interpersonal abilities and strong communication skills (oral and written) in order to work with a broad array of personnel at all levels within the company and outside of the company

·  Knowledge and experience in branding, customer awareness and pricing methods is a plus.

·  Experience working with a sales organization is a plus

·  Website experience is a plus

·  Bachelor’s Degree is required

Minimum 3 years experience in a Market Research environment
