Master Scheduler (3097) DescriptionThe Master Scheduler/Senior Planner is responsible for the planning and coordination of materials in order to meet customer demand.  This position acts in a lead capacity to ensure that the materials necessary to support quarterly manufacturing/operations schedules are available.  Other job responsibilities include: Provide customer specific plans, schedules, and updates to the customer account team Acts to correct all problems related to materials planning and inventory management Acts to correct inventory imbalances by alerting management of problem areas Coordinates delivery of production materials, assists in preparing optimal production schedules given marketing orders and parts/components availability and assures timely shipping of finished goods prior to end of quarter Consults with Engineering to determine optimal implementation of Engineering Change Orders Consults with Marketing to assure clarity of understanding relating to the content of factory orders and of components to be ordered and configured in order to meet customer requirements and needs May schedule shipping of finished goods to meet customer promise dates Provides in-feed plans, recovery updates and shipment tracking information, as appropriate Ensures fair and equitable treatment of all employees by complying with company Affirmative Action goals, programs and policies Performs related and other duties as required.
