Microsoft VLM Contracts Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be the key liaison for all functions relating to the administration of the customer’s licensing contracts with Microsoft.  You will review customer contracts to ensure Insight can/will comply.  Ensure policies and procedures are established and enforced regarding contract fulfillment throughout Insight.  Review final contracts for accuracy. Manage contract paperwork flow and contract files.  Set up and maintain contracts in CMD.  Set up parts and product pools as needed to assist the Data Team during peak periods.  Build and maintain publisher relationships.  Stay current on program changes, return policies, new licensing programs, and pricing changes.  Communicate changes as appropriate.  Coordinate and participate in departmental team, operational and training meetings.  Develop and maintain a relationship with Licensing Advisors and Licensing Specialists.  Back-up other team members in their absence by having knowledge of their programs and their job functions.  Complete various projects as assigned by supervisor. 

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION, YOU MUST: Have strong customer service skills and a commitment to meet or exceed customer requirements, Previous Microsoft Licensing experience is strongly preferred. Have experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Be proficient with in-depth internet research and email Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Be able to understand and respond to customer needs, Have excellent organization skills, Be able to effectively manage multiple priorities, Be able to work in a fast paced environment, Be able to navigate through multiple computer screens, Have the ability to negotiate, influence, and persuade others, Be detail oriented with proven follow up skills.
