CMOS design engineer with strong analog design expertise as well as mixed-signal design capabilities Responsibilities:Develop high-speed IC interfaces and complex analog functions. Circuit Design Projects may include working with the following: high speed interfaces, gigabit ethernet, video digital-to-analog converters, video analog-to-digital converters, high speed phase-locked loops, and high speed I/O design. Opportunity to be a project lead on a multimillion dollar revenue generating product Design, simulate, and verify analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuits. Supervise closely IC layout/mask designers. Support technology transfer to product development teams. Support debug and characterization of design Minimum Requirements:MS or BS in Electrical Engineering. Candidate must have experience in more than one of the following areas: Experience designing high speed PLL's (analog), CMOS A/D converters, high speed I/O design. high speed interfaces. 5 or more years of experience in Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design If you have a strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem solving skills, this is the ideal position for you. You will also need a good understanding of Cadence's custom IC design environment, analog circuit simulation (HSpice, HspireRF). Programming language skills (Perl) as well as digital design skills are a plus. EOE
