Provision of technical support to customers interested to design in Mixed Signal IP for their System on Chip (SoC)Work with local Sales team to qualify new opportunities and win new business, thus growing our IP business in North AmericaMake on site customer visits as required representing the Mixed Signal IP portfolio from a technical perspectiveUnderstanding our portfolio sufficiently well to support opportunities with prospective customersBuild relationships with key engineering teams in order to stay abreast of latest IP developmentsKeep up to date with latest IP integration issues from a technical perspectiveFeed back to  marketing  relevant information regarding customer requirement trends and competitor dataWhere necessary work with our development team to accurately capture customer’s customisation requirementsIdeally be capable to run simulations to validate customer enquiries as to applicability of the IP for particular SoC requirementWork with our customers in integration of our MS IP from a technical perspectiveContribute information for IP roadmapsAttend and/or present at conferences and other suitable fora


Requirements:An honours degree or post-graduate qualification in electronic engineering or related disciplineAt least five years experience as a mixed signal designerBe able to understand trade-offs between various IP block parametersA track record of successful design executionA good knowledge and understanding of mixed signal IP design and knowledge of integration issues be an advantageGood communication and influencing skillsAbility to track progress and address problems in a timely mannerAbility to interact, co-operate and build relationships with the various stakeholders of the groupShows a drive for resultsAbility to manage numerous customer opportunities at the one timeWilling to travel as required
SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT POSITIONS

Regional Sales Manager-Mixed Signal IP


Sales of Mixed Signal IP in the Western US, including California, Oregon, Washington and ArizonaSales budget and planning for the assigned territoryMeeting sales and revenue targets in the territoryPreparing sales proposalsMaintaining up-to-date information on customer engagements in Salesforce.comMaintaining up to date forecasting informationPlanning and execution of (quarterly) business review meetings with key customers in the territoryDeveloping and maintaining an innovative business plan which will include key customer, financial and market informationManagement and development of selected areas of  customer baseIdentifying customer requirementsIdentifying prime contacts within target customersIdentifying and developing new customers and markets based on our business development planProviding competitive and market information on an ongoing basisAdvising the Business Line on our ability and development needs to address new and emerging marketsReporting on market perceptions of products and servicesReporting on key competitors and their strategies and activities in the marketplace.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplineFurther business training in Sales and/or Marketing/Technology managementFive years direct sales or sales management experience including responsibility for multiple contract wins in excess of US$250KExtensive experience in value based selling to semiconductor companies, especially to the Business Owners and Senior Development ExecutivesExperience of selling Silicon IP is highly desirable, in particular Analog/Mixed Signal IPExcellent knowledge of semiconductor markets particularly in the consumer, wireless, or networking sectorsAbility to engage with existing and new customers, to understand their application requirements and to present our solutions in an effective and professional mannerAbility to develop long-term business relationships with customersAbility to work effectively as part of our outstanding team to develop winning value propositions for our customersExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to operate with a high degree of autonomy, within a defined sales processAbility and willingness to engage in cold calling of potential IP customersWillingness to travel frequently to customers within North America, but with focus on the Western US.BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERS



Reporting to the General Manager North America, the successful candidate will be responsible for:Meeting sales and revenue targets for North American territoryLeading the sales proposal process for target customersSales budgeting and planningManagement and development of our Consumer Healthcare and end user TV consumer customer basePlanning and execution of quarterly business review meetings with key customers in the territoryDeveloping and maintaining an innovative business plan which will include key customer, financial and market informationIdentifying key customer requirementsIdentifying prime contacts within target customers and developing relationships with sameIdentifying and developing new customers and markets based on our business development planProviding competitive and market information on an ongoing basisReporting on market perceptions of  products and servicesReporting on key competitors and their strategies and activities in the marketplace.
 

Requirements:7 to 10 years experience in selling high-technology enterprise or embedded solutionsBachelors degree in a technical field required, MBA desiredProven quota achievementExcellent knowledge of professional service and product sales and associated business processesAbility to quickly and effectively understand customers’ requirements and to present the relevant  solutions in a highly relevant and professional mannerAbility to develop and maintain long-term business relationships with customersStay current and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of complex products, solutions and pricingProven ability to transfer knowledge to others and to work effectively as part of a team to develop winning proposals for our customersExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to operate with a high degree of autonomy, within a defined sales processWillingness to travel frequently within North America and occasional travel to EuropeAbility and willingness to engage in cold calling potential customersStrong analytical skillsStrong oral, presentation and written communication skillsThrive in a fast paced, growing business in a rapidly changing industry environment.
