Location: Raleigh, NC 27607Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend NETWORK ANALYST Raleigh NCDay shift (Mon.-Fri.) 12 month renewable contract Responsibilities:Monitoring and troubleshooting ASA Firewalls or PIX Firewalls and setting up and troubleshooting of VPNs (Site to site and site to client). Full list of responsibilities are listed below but these two are the most important1. Monitoring and validating network alerts  2. Identifying, isolating, and resolving simple to complex network issues. 3. Vendor Management (i.e. engaging 3rd party vendors to resolve network issues (e.g. circuit issues) 4. Problem documentation and tracking 5. Change management and implementation 6. Network procedure and documentation maintenance 7. Team development. Required Skills:CCNA (Must have), Firewalls (ASA or PIX) and VPN (Set up and troubleshooting). Other skills to help sell the candidate are listed below. Demonstrated experience with Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Firewalls -- includes logging into devices, viewing current configuration, verifying device/interface status, finding neighbor devices, etc). Working Knowledge of various IP Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc) Comprehensive understanding of switched network operations (VLANs, Trucking, etc) Basic understanding of various WAN technologies (Frame Relay, VPN, ISDN, MPLS) Comprehensive understanding of various network concepts (HSRP, IP Addressing/Subnetting, NAT, SNMP, ARP) Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP.
