outsourceIT is a internationally ranked Managed Service Provider.  We provide IT support to businesses ranging in size of 15 computers to as many as 500 computers.  We support many different industries and currently support thousands of devices.  Our services include both remote and on-site support.  We are growing at a very fast pace, our average growth has been more than 130% for the past 4 years and this year is on target to do the same.  We currently have three locations, La Plata, MD, Falls Church, VA and Roanoke, VA, with other sites coming soon.

What we are looking for:

*Experience supporting small to medium size networks

*Able to communicate with all levels of staff, including executives

*Strong technical knowledge base working with Windows servers and PC’s

*Understand the importance of customer services

*The ability to work in a fast paced environment


Responsibilities:
* Ensure that professional support and response standards are met and maintained

* Ensure the level of technical support is fast and professional

* Daily travel to client sites in the DC Metro Area

* Create and maintains necessary technical support documents

* Coordinate with other techs to improve products and Technical Support operations

 
Technical skill set preferred:

*Windows server (2000, 2003, 2003 R2, Small business Server) (Installation and Management)

*Exchange server (2000, 2003, and 2007)

*Veritas Backup exec

*Windows XP and office

*Active directory

*Blackberry Enterprise Server

*Imaging (Acronis)

*Windows Scripting

*Firewall (Sonicwall & Cisco)

*Sharepoint

 

 

 

Other Skills:

* Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills

* Working knowledge of Windows Servers, PCs and Networks

* Minimum of 2 years direct customer support experience

* Must be customer service oriented with a patient and pleasant personality

* Effective verbal and written communication skills

* Experience in product technical documentation

* Prior network consulting experience desired

* Experience with small business environments desired

* Must have a neat and professional appearance

* The ability to multitask and prior project management experience is a plus

* MSCE/MCP certification preferred (not required)
