We are searching for a self-motivated and quick learner of new technologies who posesses the aptitude and eagerness to gain knowledge and experience in a variety of computer and network related areas. Your ability to interact with our customers is as important as your technical skills.
This is a FULL TIME position which will focus on servicing our customers’ network & computer needs in their homes and businesses.

Required Skills:
· PROVEN ability to troubleshoot a wide range of network and computer issues and get a solution implemented quickly.
· POSTIVE ATTITUDE and leads to team building, strengthens relationships with customers and collegues and EAGERNESS to get the job done regardless of circumstance.
· Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, & wireless products (800, 1800, 2800 series routers; 500, 2900, 3500 series Catalyst switches; Aironet wireless access points). Understanding and navigating through Cisco IOS.
· Cat5/Cat6 wiring installation /troubleshooting experience.
· Setup, Configuration, & Optimization of Dell Laptops & Desktops
· Setup and configuration of Windows 2000/XP/2003
· MS Office XP/2003/2007 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Configuration and Troubleshooting of Mac OSX desktops and laptops.
· Network Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Print Servers (D-Link, Linksys, Netgear)
· Network Printing (Wired/Wireless) - HP Printers & Multifunction Devices
· Antivirus/Spyware/Adware Detection & Removal
· VPN configuration and troubleshooting. Client and server.
· NAS and Network Backup Solutions from PCs and Macs.

Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support to internal and external end users on hardware, software and network related problems. Setup and repair of user systems including: Dell desktops & laptops, HP printers.
· Complete full Cisco Network and Dell Computer installations at client site including Cat5e/6 wiring, core networking hardware installation and configuration (router, switch, cable/DSL modem, UPS, patch panels, etc).
· Troubleshoot DSL, Cable Modem, and Verizon FiOS connectivity and home/office client networks.
· Provide support for all desktop software, including Microsoft Office XP/2003/2007, Adobe Acrobat, Symantec Antivirus, Norton Internet Security, and other applications as necessary.
· Ability to interface and communicate at all levels within the organization. Customer service focus.
· Excellent oral and written communications, organizational, technical and analysis skills.
· Ability to function effectively in a dynamic support role under general or little supervision.
· Comprehensive knowledge of LAN/WAN configuration troubleshooting and maintenance.
· Troubleshoot common issues related to Windows XP, MS Outlook, Exchange Server, XP system administration, desktop configuration, etc.
· Troubleshoot issues related to devices such as network printer/multifunction devices, NAS appliances, backup devices, Blackberry syncing, etc.
· Follow all support issues to full resolution and provide reports for IT Manager.
Staying current with emerging desktop and network technology that can improve performance of all levels of employees in the organization
