Network Infrastructure Technician - Las Vegas

Our people combine expertise in systems integration, outsourcing, infrastructure, server technology and consulting with precision thinking and relentless execution to help clients, in more than 100 countries, quickly and efficiently achieve competitive advantage.Netwrok Infrastucture Technician - Las Vegas- Install and maintain network routing and switching equipment utilizing standards based UTP and Fiber technologies.- Install and maintain customer unique equipment utilizing analog and digital technilogies.- Work with customers to resolve problems with connectivity and perform in depth troubleshooting.- Install and maintain VoIP infrastructure based on Cisco technologies.- Execute network infrastructure projects; develop parts lists based on requirements and standards, plan and perfom installation and create/update configuration documentation.Qualifications:- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance, previous clearnace a plus- Extensive knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of TCP/IP.- Working knowledge of networking hardware (switches, routers, hubs) primarily based on Cisco technologies.- Working knowledge of government approved network encryption devices.- Basic understanding of electronics principles with the ability to use oscilloscopes, voltmeters, multimeters.- Excellent communication, analyitical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.- Familiraity working with government customers is a plus.We offer a fully competitive total rewards programs in a Pay for Performance environment, including opportunities for growth and development through Unisys University, an above market vacation policy, tuition reimbursement, competitive health and welfare benefits including medical, dental, life, disability, 401K and (featuring immediate eligibility) and a developing array of work/life benefits.If you are interested in applying for this employment opportunity or exploring similar opportunities, please Apply Online.
