Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 7x24 network management and support consisted of proprietary and COTS hardware and software networked via global terrestrial and RF/satellite communications equipment. - Responsible for 99.95% system uptime.- Perform real-time system monitoring, traffic tracking, and trend analysis using proprietary & non-proprietary tools.-Lead and/or support Network Operations in system monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting.-Monitor and track security events, and apply system changes in accordance with Army/DOD IT security standards.-Perform & Maintain Configuration Management. -Perform shift duties, prepare daily logs, weekly and monthly management reports- Maintain & update operators Manual. ***Additional Duties and Responsibilities:-Other duties as assigned.2. Experience, Education and Licensure:**Depending upon the position level: -BS/AS in IT or Computer Science with 2 years experience related field- At least 2 years of proven experience in UNIX (LINUX, Free BSD, SUN O/S, HP-UX, AIX) operating systems is required. -Relevant certification is a plus.-Proficient with network management and monitoring via management tools and basic UNIX command set.**Depending upon the position level:  -2 years of telecommunications (terrestrial and RF/satellite) trouble-shooting experience including Switches, Routers, VPNs, and Firewalls. -Relevant certification is a plus.3. Minimum Requirements:-United State citizen with Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.-Prior military service or DOD experience is highly desired**Depending upon the position level:  BS/AS in IT or Computer Science with 2 years experience related field-2 years of proven experience in UNIX (LINUX, Free BSD, SUN O/S, HP-UX, AIX) operating systems is required. Relevant certification is a plus.-Proficient with network management and monitoring via management tools and basic UNIX command set.**Depending upon the position level: 2 years of telecommunications (terrestrial and RF/satellite) trouble-shooting experience including-Switches, Routers, VPNs, and Firewalls. Relevant certification is a plus.-Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Exchange, Excel, Word, Share Point)** Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays - Must be able to lift, move, and install hardware, as required. 4.
