Position Summary
Provide support and technical assistance of F5 products running on various operating systems to internal, external customers and partners ranging from small Internet companies to large multi-national corporations with an Internet presence. The Network Support Engineer typically spends between 3 and 4 hours per day supporting customers over the phone.

Responsibilities Work with customers to provide excellent customer service. Utilizes various troubleshooting tools, facilities and equipment at F5 to replicate/solve customer issues. Sets customer expectations as necessary, and accepts ownership of customer issues until a solution is achieved providing complete customer satisfaction. Work with customers at varying levels of experience or technical capability under varying time constraints.

Qualifications Strong UNIX skills required. Microsoft NT and Red Hat Linux experience preferred Minimum 2 years work experience in a technical support role working with relevant technologies. Knowledge of troubleshooting methodolgies. BS or BA required, CS degree strongly preferred. Must speak fluent English. Minimum 2 years experience working with LAN and WAN topologies, TCP/IP protocol, and routers/switches required. Must have strong knowledge of DNS Server. F5 Products or competitive products experience strongly desired.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Duties are performed in an office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
