Network Systems Engineer

LogicShark Consulting is a New York City based IT professional services company which specializes in systems integration, networking, technical consulting, procurement, and development for corporations.
 

LogicShark Consulting is seeking a full time, entry level networking systems engineer in their NYC office. This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting and supporting various IT client projects relating to the networking aspect.
 

Skills required:

 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS required Excellent comprehension of networking basics required (such as LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPN, network design, routing protocols) Familiarity with installing Microsoft Operating Systems (Server and/or Desktop) required Experience with computer and networking hardware architectures required (such as routers and switches) Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Certifications in Microsoft/Cisco/Check Point/HP a plus Ability to work and think independently with minimal supervision Some travel required
