Network and Software Engineers for ATCA Division

DTI recently expanded into the Dallas area and is building a team of engineers to work in our Irving, TX office.  This team will comprise the core of our Network Products Group.  The Network Engineer will be part of a team dedicated to the design, test, and support of the company's embedded network products.  The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for the company's embedded network products. 

 

Network Engineer

 

Key Responsibilities:Provide customer support for embedded network productValidate and verify embedded network products’ functionality

 Secondary Responsibilities:Assist software and hardware engineers in the development of new products

 Qualifications: BS in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field required  2+ years of applicable experience in network design, support, and/or testing required Significant knowledge of networking protocols required Experience with scripting (Tcl, Perl, shell scripting) desired Proficiency in C programming desired Broadcom’s FASTPATH experience a strong plus  Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and in coordination with others in both local and remote locations

Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain complex network applications

Secondary Responsibilities:Work with hardware engineers to define new productsWork with network engineers to support and test products

 Qualifications: BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science required  2+ years of applicable experience in embedded software development required  Proficiency in C programming required  Proficiency in Linux required  Knowledge of AdvancedTCA and other telecommunications standards a strong plus  Broadcom’s FASTPATH experience a strong plus  Knowledge of networking protocols a plus Experience with uBoot, Busybox, and other embedded software packages a plus NPU experience a plus Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and in coordination with others in both local and remote locations
