Software Quality Assurance Manager Skills Required: SQA, Networking software, test automation, Ethernet, TCP/IP, C, Perl, Python, Tcl, test plans, test cases, scripting, management, manager, lead, Linux, embedded linux Job Description: Are you a Software QA Manager with 2 years Management experience and at least 5 years of Networking Software QA experience?Then read on:Will relocate the right candidate to beautiful Calabasas, CAWhat you'll be doing:Oversee and drive the testing of our Network Software Suite. This hands-on position includes management of multi site QA teams, definition of test plans and the development and inspection of automated test cases written in C and Perl. Verification and system integration of our Network Software Suite. This suite of network protocols, device drivers and switch management modules runs the L2 and L3 control planes of our high-speed switches and routers, as well as providing management interfaces such as CLI, Web UI and SNMP to manage these systems inside a complex network. This type of environment requires that the software within it must be robust, secure, and interoperable with other equipment in the system. Work closely with software developers and product management to enhance and assure software quality, with involvement throughout the development process. Designing and implementing QA processes, detailed automated test plans, tracking software defects, verifying software fixes, assessing risk and developing product QA schedules. What you'll need:A Bachelor of Science degree in CS, CENG, EE or equivalent degree 5-10 years of networking software QA or development experience 2 years of software QA or development management experience An in depth understanding of networking, software development skills, as well as the ability to manage and direct a talented QA team that is charged with testing and debugging a complex and distributed networking system. Experience designing and implementing test automation Software development skills in C, Perl, Python and/or Tcl is required Direct experience with Ethernet and TCP/IP Experience writing test plans and executing test cases Proven record of building, maintaining and leading QA or development teams Experience managing multi site QA or development teams and interacting with multi site software development.
