Design, develop and implement self-checking automated tests derived from Fulcrum software API specification, IEEE documents and system level networking scenarios Develop and execute test plans to verify our embedded software and firmware Test and debug complex systems integrating custom hardware and software Assist in defining structured test methodology Document structured test plans and procedures and maintain proper records Define acceptable quality standards and measuring/reviewing actual performance in meeting defined quality standards and report the findings to peers and management teamWhat you'll need:A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, plus a minimum of three years experience in networking software QA and/or network management experience. Direct Experience with Ethernet and TCP/IP. Experience writing test plans and executing test cases. Expertise in scripting languages such as Perl or Python. C programming expertise with knowledge of Java and C++ a plus. Linux programming experience with embedded Linux a plus. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a desire to interact with customers. An in-depth understanding of networking as well as the ability to diligently test and debug complex systems, integrating custom hardware and software.
