ORACLE PORTAL DEVELOPER/ADMINISTRATOR
Mandatory Skill/Expertise:
1. A minimum of 4 years experience providing technical leadership and hands-on development with Oracle Portal Content Management System (9i or higher) to develop Web sites and Web-based applications, including extensive experience and understanding of Oracle Portal**s Administrative components.
2. A minimum of 4 years experience in logical database design and modeling, incorporating data normalization and referential integrity enforcement techniques.
3. A minimum of 4 years experience creating and using procedures, views, and functions to support application development.
4. A minimum of 4 years experience with the following: HTML, Javascript, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting (ksh, csh or perl ),.
Desirable Skill/Expertise:
1. Experience in using Oracle Portal Transport sets and import/export functionality.
2. Experience and knowledge of OID/AD and use by Oracle Portal applications
3. Knowledge and experience with Oracle application server configuration for Portal applications
4. Experience in developing CGI scripts
5. Experience in using AJAX and XML to develop web-based applications
6. Experience in developing web-based applications that meet W3C and Section 508 accessibility/usability standards
7. Experience developing web sites for State or Government agencies
